4 arrested along with three weapons in special operation of DB police in Pabna

Four people have been arrested along with three weapons and a large quantity of bullets in a special operation of the Detective Branch (DB) in Pabna city.

They were arrested during a raid in different parts of the city on Wednesday (January 01) night.

The arrested are Mizanur Rahman Mamun alias Bangal Mamun (47), son of Abdul Mannan of Balrampur area of ​​Pabna Municipality Sadar, Arif Hossain (25), son of the deceased Kobad Sheikh, Firoz Hossain (35), son of Abdus Sobahan of Shibrampur area, and Ripon Hossain (35), son of Abdur Razzak of East Shalgariya area.

Confirming this information, Pabna DB Police OC Rashedul Islam said that based on a secret tip-off, a foreign pistol, two revolvers and four rounds of fresh cartridges were seized during a raid in the city's Mansurabad area. Two people were arrested at that time.

In two other separate operations, 53 rounds of pistol bullets were seized from a flat house on Shayestha Khan Road in Dakshin Raghavpur area of ​​Pabna city and two people were arrested with three rounds of live bullets from a house in Purba Shalgaria area. A motorcycle was also seized.

A case has been filed against them under the Arms Act at Pabna Sadar Police Station in this incident. They were arrested and handed over to the court on Thursday afternoon.
