Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Adviser to the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, announced that a voluntary network will be established in every district to support the Forest Department in the quick rescue and protection of wildlife.

Speaking at an event marking International Freshwater Dolphin Day, Rizwana emphasized that the survival of dolphins is a vital indicator of river health, directly linking river pollution and human survival. She stressed that protecting wildlife requires not only strong laws but also profound psychological and behavioral changes to combat cruelty.
