Discussion Meeting Held to Mark Porsha Genocide Day

A discussion meeting was held on Wednesday at the Porsha Upazila Parishad auditorium to observe Porsha Genocide Day.

Organized by the Upazila administration, the event was presided over by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Rakibul Islam. Speakers at the meeting paid tribute to the victims and discussed the historical significance of the day in the context of the liberation struggle.

The program was attended by Agriculture Officer Mamunur Rashid, Livestock Officer Dr. Jahangir Alam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Porsha Thana Ziaur Rahman, and Social Service Officer Shahidul Islam. Local freedom fighters, URC Instructor Ashraful Alam, and various departmental officials were also in attendance to honor the occasion.
