


Rain or thunderstorms are likely in six divisions, including Dhaka, today. While the Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) predicts a temporary rise in temperatures over the next few days, a trend of increased rainfall is expected toward the end of the week.
According to Meteorologist Dr. Muhammad Abul Kalam Mallick, the forecast for the next 24 hours indicates scattered rain or thunderstorms, accompanied by gusty winds and lightning, in parts of Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet. Other regions will remain largely dry with partly cloudy skies. Daytime temperatures may rise by 1–2°C, with a slight increase in night temperatures.
Thursday (March 26) Rain or thunderstorms may occur in parts of Khulna and Barishal. Temperatures nationwide are expected to rise slightly.
Friday (March 27) Precipitation is likely in Rangpur, Rajshahi, and Sylhet divisions. Dry weather will persist elsewhere.
Saturday (March 28) Rainfall activity will expand. Significant rain is expected in Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Sylhet, with scattered showers in other divisions. Temperatures may drop by 1–2°C.
Sunday (March 29) Widespread thunderstorms are predicted for Mymensingh, Dhaka, Chattogram, and Sylhet. Temperatures will remain stable, though a general warming trend is expected over the following five days.
