


Pabna's new Deputy Commissioner Shahed Mustafa held an interaction with journalists at the Press Club VIP Auditorium on Saturday afternoon.
Moderated by Pabna Press Club's Literary and Cultural Secretary Yad Ali Mridha Pavel and chaired by Press Club President Akhtaruzzaman Akhtar, the new Deputy Commissioner Shahed Mustafa said as the chief guest, "I am new here. It is not possible to maintain peace and order in this district and run all the district's activities smoothly without the cooperation of journalists."
Deputy Commissioner Shahed Mustafa told journalists that people of various classes are now being harassed and blackmailed by making videos using AI images. He called for fact-checking this issue and reporting it in the news.
He said, "You can understand that my posting in Pabna at the moment before the election means my arrival with the aim of fair elections. My main responsibility now is to hold elections in a fair, free, impartial and peaceful environment. If the voting is peaceful, the right people's representatives will be elected. The cooperation of the media is necessary to conduct the elections fairly, noting that the media gets information before the public administration. Therefore, the cooperation of the media is especially necessary.
Regarding election-centric security, he said, the Election Commission has already announced three levels of security. The security of the center, the mobile striking force and the reserve force will be in charge of these three security.
