Administration provides assistance to families affected by fire in Porsha

The upazila administration has provided immediate relief to a family whose tin-shed house was completely destroyed in a fire in Porsha, Naogaon. The Disaster Management Department of the upazila administration delivered the assistance on Tuesday.

On Monday evening, the two-room tin-shed house of Rahmat Ali, son of Nayem Uddin of Nitpur Jelepara, was reduced to ashes. After being informed, UNO Rakibul Islam summoned Rahmat Ali to his office and handed him two bundles of corrugated iron sheets, 6,000 taka in cash, two blankets, and a packet of food items provided by the Disaster Management Department.

Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mosa Nabila Ferdous and Project Implementation Officer Mahmudul Haque Titu were present during the relief distribution.
