Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is back in the spotlight. Since becoming a mother, she has faced frequent public scrutiny. This time, the news is not about a film but a Hollywood opportunity.

Deepika recently declined an offer to act in the fourth season of the popular Hollywood black comedy series The White Lotus. The producers wanted her to audition, but she refused, stating that auditions were unnecessary at her career stage. As a result, discussions did not move forward.

Earlier, she had also been approached for the third season but could not participate due to her pregnancy. Recent reports suggest she has stepped back from Bollywood films like Kalki 2 and Spirit. Amid these rumors, Deepika shared a message on her Instagram story that many believe was aimed at her critics.

She wrote: “Staying calm is the greatest power. Anyone can lose their temper, react immediately, or shout. Real power is staying calm amidst chaos.” She added that calmness is not weakness; it reflects self-control. In a world full of noise, silence can be the ultimate superpower.

Deepika will next appear in the film King, directed by Siddharth Anand, alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Suhana Khan. The movie is slated for a December release. She is also working with director Atlee opposite Allu Arjun.
