Ranveer Singh’s latest film Dhurandhar The Revenge continues its strong box office run three weeks after release, crossing major milestones and entering the Rs 1,000 crore club.
Amid the film’s success, attention has shifted to Deepika Padukone, who has faced criticism online for not posting about the achievement on social media.
A viral post claimed Deepika skipped the film’s premiere and was quietly protesting against the director. Responding to the speculation, she wrote, “I am just avoiding these internet dramas, friend. And I have seen this film long ago. Now tell me, who is having fun?”
Her response suggests she prefers to celebrate privately rather than publicly.
The film is making history in Indian cinema. It crossed Rs 1,000 crore in just 18 days, becoming the second fastest after Pushpa 2. It is also challenging records set by Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.
Last year, when the first installment was released, Deepika publicly praised Ranveer and the team. This time, however, she appears to be spending more time offline.
Recently, she was seen on a dinner outing with Ranveer’s family and visiting a popular café in Mumbai.
Alongside Ranveer, the film features performances by R. Madhavan, Akshaye Khanna, and Arjun Rampal.
