


Detective Police have recovered two stolen motorcycles and arrested four members of an organised theft gang in Narail District.
Police said motorcycles had been stolen from different parts of the district for several months. Most recently, a red Apache motorcycle was stolen from the house of Basudeb Banerjee in Itna village under Lohagara upazila.
Following the incident, the Superintendent of Police in Narail directed the Detective Branch (DB) to identify and arrest those involved.
Acting on information and using technology-based tracking, a DB team conducted overnight drives in different areas. They recovered one stolen motorcycle from the house of Sajjad Sikder in Joypur village under Kalia upazila and another from in front of a residence in Narail municipality.
The arrested are Md. Sajib Sheikh of Itna village, Lohagara upazila, Md. Alamin of Kandi village, Nagarkanda upazila in Faridpur, Md. Sajjad Sikder of Joypur village, Kalia upazila, Md. Saiful Islam of Khamar village under Naragati police station
The operation was led by the Officer-in-Charge of Narail Detective Police.
Police said two stolen motorcycles were recovered and four suspects were arrested in the same operation. A case has been filed against them, and they were sent to court on Monday afternoon.
