“Terrorism Can’t Suppress Public Support”: AK Azad

Former FBCCI president and independent MP for Faridpur-3, A.K. Azad, has blamed extortionists and illegal sand traders for Sunday’s attack on his motorcade in Paramanandapur.

Speaking to reporters on Monday, Azad said, “Terrorism cannot suppress public support. The attack was driven by jealousy over my popularity.”

He added that a case is being prepared with Kotwali Police Station over the incident.
