An opinion exchange meeting on the Consumer Rights Protection Act 2009 was held at Government Edward College, Pabna, on Thursday afternoon. The event aimed to raise awareness among students, teachers, and the local youth.

The meeting was held at the Shaheed Abdus Sattar Auditorium and chaired by ABM Fazlur Rahman, President of the Consumer Association of Bangladesh (CAB), Pabna. Professor Md. Lutfar Rahman, Principal of Government Edward College, attended as the chief guest.

During the session, speakers emphasized the importance of understanding consumer rights to prevent market exploitation. Special guests included Vice-Principal Professor Md. Abdullah Al Mamun and Teachers’ Association President Dr. Kalim Uddin.

Mahmud Hasan Rony, Assistant Director of the National Consumer Rights Protection Department in Pabna, presented the keynote speech and conducted a quiz session for the participants. The program, moderated by CAB Joint Secretary Shafiq Al Kamal, concluded with Principal Lutfar Rahman distributing prizes to ten quiz winners.
