Hadi will be brought to DU's central mosque for public viewing

The plane carrying Osman Hadi will land at Dhaka's Shahjalal International Airport at around 6 pm today, Friday. After that, he will be taken to Dhaka University Central Mosque, Inqilab Manch said.

The organization said in a message on its Facebook page, the plane carrying Shaheed Osman Hadi will land at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport by 6 pm. We will all take an orderly position on both sides of the road from the airport to Shahbagh to receive the fearless hero who sacrificed his life, independence and sovereignty for our July 11th. Inqilab Manch said that from there, Shaheed Osman Hadi will be brought to Dhaka University Central Mosque for a public meeting.

Inqilab Manch spokesperson Sharif Osman bin Hadi, who was undergoing treatment at Singapore General Hospital, passed away at 9:45 pm Bangladesh time on Thursday (Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilaihi Rajiun). Special prayers were held across the country after Friday prayers today for his death.

Hadi was a potential independent candidate for the Dhaka-8 constituency in the upcoming 13th National Parliament election.

On December 12, miscreants shot and fled on his way to Suhrawardy Udyan. He was later taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital in a seriously injured condition.

After undergoing surgery there, he was sent to Evercare Hospital. Later, he was sent to Singapore for advanced treatment.
