


To ensure compliance with the code of conduct in the upcoming 13th parliamentary elections, 42 magistrates have been appointed in Chattogram city and upazila to run mobile courts.
On Friday (December 12), Deputy Commissioner Md. Zahidul Islam Miah appointed them in an office order.
Chattogram Additional District Magistrate Syed Mahbubul Haque said that the responsible magistrates will run mobile courts to ensure that everyone adheres to the code of conduct to maintain a good election environment. The responsible magistrates have started their duties from Friday, which will end two days after the elections to be held on February 12.
12 magistrates are on duty in 16 police station areas of Chattogram city and 30 magistrates in 15 upazilas.
