


Kutumbari Restaurant at Wasa Mor in Chattogram City has been fined one lakh Taka for preparing food in a dirty and filthy environment.
A team in coordination with the Chattogram Divisional Office of the National Consumer Rights Protection Department and the Chattogram Metropolitan Police conducted the drive on Thursday (December 11) afternoon.
Mohammad Faiz Ullah, Deputy Director of the National Consumer Rights Protection Department, said that Kutumbari Restaurant has been fined one lakh Taka for cooking and processing food in an unclean and unhygienic environment.
The drive was conducted as part of the regular market surveillance activities in coordination with the Chattogram Divisional Office of the National Consumer Rights Protection Department and the Chattogram Metropolitan Police.
This surveillance activity of the National Consumer Rights Protection Department will continue in the public interest. Kutumbari Restaurant has been warned. If the same crime is found in the future, the establishment will be sealed.
