Md. Babul Hossain, Deputy Director of the Public Relations and Publications Office at Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUST) has been appointed Treasurer of the Bangladesh Public University Public Relations Association (BPUPRA).
The association formed its new 25-member biennial executive committee during a general meeting held at Jahangirnagar University on Friday.
At the same meeting, Dr. Mohammad Mohiuddin (Suman), Director of Public Relations at Jahangirnagar University, was elected President while Md. Samsul Alam (Shibli), Deputy Director of Public Relations at Mawlana Bhashani Science and Technology University was chosen as General Secretary.
Babul Hossain has served in PUST's public relations office for over 12 years. He completed his SSC from Bangladesh Bank Adarsha High School in 2000 and HSC from Notre Dame College in 2002. He earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees with distinction in Mass Communication and Journalism from the University of Dhaka.
In addition to his administrative work, Babul regularly writes opinion columns for national newspapers on various socio-educational issues.
