The event emphasized strengthening alumni bonds, building professional networks, and ensuring active participation in the university's development.

Member Secretary Dr. A.T.M. Faiz Khan Rakib stated, “This much-awaited association will help accelerate the university’s education, research, and career development. We aim to coordinate professional opportunities for students and urge teachers, officials, and students to work together.”

Convener Dr. Md. Abdus Sattar expressed his gratitude, adding, “Our aim is to build a bridge between the university’s teachers and students. We will support the students in coordination with all our fraternal organizations.”

Chief guest and PUST Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. S.M. Hemayet Jahan highlighted the importance of alumni in elevating the university's global standing. He urged the new committee to remain united above personal or political differences.

Addressing infrastructure concerns, the Vice-Chancellor added, “Development at the Barisal campus has been stagnant for a long time. However, the budget for a new hall and academic building has been passed in the DPP. Completing these will bring much-needed relief to the students. I will always support your initiatives for the university.”
