Chattogram Ready for Eid-ul-Fitr, Jamiatul Falah to Host Main Congregation

The main Eid-ul-Fitr congregation in Chattogram will be held at the Jamiatul Falah National Mosque complex. The first jamaat is scheduled for 8:00 AM, confirmed Chattogram City Corporation (CCC) Social Welfare Officer, Md. Mamun.

Hazratul Allama Syed Abu Taleb Mohammad Alauddin Al Qaderi, Khatib of the mosque, will lead the first prayer. A second congregation will follow at the same venue at 8:45 AM.

"Ground preparations are nearly complete, and the City Mayor inspected the site on Wednesday," Mamun added. Workers are currently finishing the layout, including the placement of carpets and mats across the vast premises.

Other Major Congregations Under the supervision of the CCC, several other mosques and grounds will host prayers at 8:00 AM Laldighi CCC Shahi Jame Mosque.

Hazrat Sheikh Farid (R.) Chashma Eidgah, Sugandha Residential Area, Chawkbazar City Corporation Mosque, and Zahur Hawkers Market.

South Khulshi (VIP) Area, Arefin Nagar Central Cemetery, Sagarika Gorubazar, and Ma Ayesha Siddiqui Mosque (near Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium).

The Chattogram District Administration will host its primary congregation at the District Stadium Gymnasium ground at 8:30 AM. Assistant Commissioner Md. Moinul Hasan stated that preparations are in the final stages, noting that both the Divisional Commissioner and the Deputy Commissioner are expected to join the prayers there.
