


Cash assistance from the Prime Minister’s Relief and Welfare Fund was distributed among the underprivileged in Narail Sadar Upazila on Wednesday morning (March 18) ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.
The distribution ceremony, organized by the Narail Sadar Upazila administration, took place at the Maijpara College ground.
Narail-2 MP and District Jamaat Ameer Ataur Rahman Bachchu attended as the chief guest and handed over the funds to beneficiaries. The event was chaired by Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) T.M. Rahsin Kabir.
Other attendees included Sadar Upazila Jamaat Ameer Hafez Abdullah Al Amin, Maijpara Degree College Principal Prabir Kumar Biswas, Maijpara UP Chairman Safura Khatun Beli, and District Jamaat Media Secretary Dr. Khan Abdus Sobhan.
In his address, the chief guest stated that the Prime Minister’s gift aims to ensure the joy of Eid reaches every household. He emphasized that the government remains committed to supporting the common people and is working to deliver assistance directly to the grassroots level.
A total of 10 lakh taka from the Prime Minister’s Relief Fund is being distributed equally across 198 wards in the Narail-2 constituency. Additionally, 700 sarees are being distributed to distressed women in the area.
