Eid gifts distributed to 250 people from Prime Minister’s Relief Fund in Paikgachha

Cash assistance from the Prime Minister’s Relief and Welfare Fund was distributed among 250 poor and helpless people in Paikgachha upazila of Khulna ahead of Eid-ul-Adha.

The assistance was distributed on Sunday afternoon at the Upazila Auditorium under the arrangement of the Upazila administration.

Member of Parliament for Khulna-6 constituency, Alhaj Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, handed over Tk 2,000 to each beneficiary from 10 unions and one municipality of the upazila.

Among others present at the event were Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami district working committee member SM Aminul Islam, Upazila Amir Maulana Saidur Rahman, Nayeb-e-Amir Maulana Bulbul Ahmed, Upazila Secretary Altaf Hossain, Organizing Secretary Maulana Abdul Khalek, Municipal Amir Dr. Asadul Haque, Advocate Mortaza Zaman Alamgir Rulu, SM Abdullah Al Mamun, Municipal Joint Secretary Shafiar Rahman, former district Chhatra Shibir president Advocate Ruhul Amin, Maulana Khoybar Hossain and Maulana Mozaffar Hossain.
