Students and the public have taken out a protest march in Laxmipur to protest against the serious injury of Inqilab Manch spokesperson and potential independent candidate for Dhaka-8 constituency Sharif Osman Hadi in a Gunshot.

The protest march started from the city's Chawk Bazar area at around 8 pm on Friday (December 12) and circled the Bazar Road before meeting in a short rally in Uttar Temuhani.

The speakers said that Osman Hadi was shot in a planned manner. We, the students, strongly condemn and protest against this. This gunfire did not only hit Hadi, it also shot the July Shakti. It shot the anti-fascist forces of this country, the terrorists must be brought to justice immediately.

Present at the time were Laxmipur city camp president Md. Farid Uddin, district convener of the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement Md. Arman Hossain, member secretary Sayedur Rahman Rafi, Bayezid Hossain, Saiful Islam Murad, Aryan Raihan and others.
