World Health Day 2026 was observed in Pabna under the theme “Science in Health Care, Protecting All Lives.” The celebration included a colorful rally and a discussion meeting.

The discussion meeting, held at the Pabna Civil Surgeon Office auditorium, featured Civil Surgeon Dr. Abul Kalam Azad as the chief guest. Also present were BRAC District Representative Md. Maruf Parvez, Area Manager of BRAC Health Program Md. Al Mamun, District Manager of BRAC Tuberculosis Control Program Md. Sohel Islam, and representatives from various government and private organizations in the district.

The event highlighted the importance of scientific approaches in health care and efforts to protect public health in the community.
