


The non-governmental development organization BRAC observed World Health Day in Atgharia, Pabna, focusing on the theme of integrating science into healthcare to protect lives.
The day’s activities began with a colorful procession through the town. Following the rally, a discussion meeting was held at the Atgharia Upazila Health Complex auditorium to highlight the importance of accessible healthcare.
Dr. Suprabha Rani, the Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer, addressed the gathering as the chief guest. Representatives from various government and private sectors attended, including Pius Murmu, Program Officer of the BRAC Tuberculosis Control Program, and Md. Asaduzzaman, Health Program Organizer. Speakers emphasized the need for continued collaboration between the government and NGOs to improve public health outcomes in the region.
