Barisal Range Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Mostafizur Rahman inspected the Eid Markets in Jhalakathi municipality on Wednesday to review security arrangements ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr.

During the visit, he spoke with traders and Journalists and assessed the situation in the Market.

The DIG instructed Police members to ensure smooth movement and Security for shoppers so that people can shop without hassle during the Eid rush.

He also directed all personnel in the district to remain alert, proactive, and dedicated to maintaining law and order. The aim, he said, is to ensure that residents and homebound travellers can move safely and celebrate Eid in a peaceful environment.

Jhalakathi Police Superintendent Md. Mizanur Rahman, Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Imtiaz Ahmed, DB Officer-in-Charge Touhiduzzaman, and Traffic Police Officer-in-Charge Rahmatullah were present during the inspection.
