BNP Joint Secretary General and Lakshmipur-3 (Sadar) constituency candidate Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anee has said that Tarique Rahman will return home very soon if Khaleda Zia is not taken abroad.

He said this as the chief guest at a meeting in front of Abhi Ullah Bhuiyan's house in Beri Mata area of Ward No. 14 of Lakshmipur Municipality on Wednesday (December 10) afternoon.

Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Anee said, Tarique Rahman is outside the country. We are waiting for him. Begum Khaleda Zia is ill and undergoing treatment. If Khaleda Zia has to be taken abroad again, then if she has to go to London for treatment, her son will have to stay there. And if there is no situation to take her abroad, then Tarique Rahman will return home very soon. Maybe he will come in two, four or ten days.

He also said, this time the vote is difficult, against an invisible force. Because the Awami League has fled. They did not allow the situation of voting by torture. There will be a vote in the country. Many political parties will vote. What they are saying, and what the BNP is saying, like Ziaur Rahman and Khaleda Zia, the work that you will do in the coming days under the leadership of Tarique Rahman will be explained in front of your mothers and sisters.

At this time, District BNP Member Secretary Shahabuddin Sabu, Lakshmipur Municipality BNP President Rezaul Karim Liton, General Secretary Nizam Uddin, BNP leader Nasir Uddin, District Mohila Dal President Sabera Anwar and General Secretary Fatema Akhter Sumi Bhuiyan were present as special guests.
