60 Quran Hafizs awarded turbans in Lakshmipur

60 students in Lakshmipur were honored by being awarded turbans for memorizing the Quran. Turbans were awarded to the Hafizs at the annual Islamic mahfil organized on the premises of Muhius Sunnah Jalalia Madrasa on Tuesday night. The madrasa authorities also greeted them with flowers.

Char Matua Madrasa Principal Maulana Ahmed Abu Taher gave the turbans to the students. Lakshmipur Darul Uloom Kamil Madrasa Muhaddis Maulana Muhammad Mohiuddin presided over the function, with Dhalkanagar Pir Shah Abdul Matin Bin Hussain of Dhaka present as the chief guest.

Former MP from Lakshmipur-3 constituency Shahid Uddin Chowdhury Annie present as the special guest. The speakers at the annual Islamic lecture of the madrasa were Tumchar Islamia Kamil Madrasa Shaykhul Hadith Maulana Harun Al Madani, Muhaddis of Battali Jamia Islamia Ashraful Madaris Mufti Yunus Ahmed, Muhaddis Hafez Maulana Abdul Baset of Noakhali Al Islamia Darul Uloom Char Matuar, etc.

In addition, Muhtamim Mohammad Amir Hossain of Muhius Sunnah Jalalia Madrasa and other dignitaries were present.

The invited guests said that Hafez are the guides of light in the Quran. Allah has embedded every letter of the Quran in their hearts. The verses of the Quran in their sweet voices will fascinate the devotees. Seeing them, everyone will be inspired to learn the Quran.
