


A three-day land service fair has begun in Pabna, focusing on the theme: "People-friendly automated land management; protected land, prosperous future." Prime Minister Tarique Rahman inaugurated the event virtually on Tuesday morning.
To mark the occasion, a colorful rally marched through the city's main roads before concluding at the local land office.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by key local officials and dignitaries, including Deputy Commissioner Aminul Islam, District Council Administrator and war-wounded hero Freedom Fighter Mohammad Zahurul Islam Bishu, and District Council Chief Executive Officer Mahfuza Sultana.
Other notable attendees included Zonal Settlement Officer Mohammad Noor-e-Alam, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Yasmin Monira, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle) Md. Shariful Islam, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Tamara Tasbiha, and Assistant Commissioner (Land) S. M. Fuad.
Pabna Press Club President Akhtaruzzaman Akhtar, General Secretary Zahurul Islam, and Pabna District BNP Member Secretary and District Bar President Advocate Maksudur Rahman Masud were also present, among other community leaders.
