


Eleven more children have died from measles and related symptoms across Bangladesh in the last 24 hours. Among the deceased, two were confirmed measles cases, while nine exhibited symptoms of the disease.
Additionally, 1,337 new infections were recorded during this period, according to the latest report released by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Tuesday.
DGHS data reveals a worrying surge over the last two months, with the total death toll reaching 475 children. Of these fatalities, 77 were laboratory-confirmed measles cases, while 398 children died showing clear symptoms of the virus. Health authorities urge parents to ensure their children are vaccinated.
