In a speech as the chief guest at the meeting, Mufti Monir Hossain Qasemi, president of the Narayanganj district branch of Jamiat-e-Ulama-e-Islam, said, "Keeping the elections in view, many Islamic party

candidates are giving tickets to heaven. Some even combine fasting and worship, while some even go to temples and recite the Gita. They say that the scale is a symbol of justice. But in that scale, unscrupulous traders are selling 800 grams of fruit instead of 1 kg by selling it at the bottom. We like the scale, but we do not support the 800-gram scale. We support Islam, Islam is the pulse of my soul, we can even die for Islam. But that Islam has to be the Islam of Medina, that is not Jamaat-e-Islam. We do not like the 800-gram Jamaat-e-Islami, and it is not permissible to vote for them."

Monir Hossain Qasemi said these things at an opinion exchange meeting on Friday (October 24) afternoon in Lamapara, Fatullah, with the aim of building a modern Narayanganj-4 constituency of dreams and possibilities and on the occasion of the upcoming National Parliament elections.

He also said that Awami League workers who did not commit extortion, forcible occupation or terrorist acts will not be allowed to suffer a scratch on their bodies. However, if they are criminals, then they will not be allowed to live, regardless of which party they belong to. No innocent person should be harassed just because of their party identity.

Criticizing Godfather Shamim Osman, he said that the previous MP did not live in our Fatullah, so he did not solve the problem. He talked big words, but did not work. That is why the entire Fatullah is submerged in water today with a little rain. If I can win your votes, I will solve the problems of waterlogging, gas and electricity in the next 5 years. If I cannot solve it, I will stay here. Mufti Monir Qasemi said to the voters You have seen 55 years, but never have the scholars and ulamas come like this. Trust the scholars for once, and you will see that in the next 5 years, what has not happened in the last 55 years will happen. In the next 5 years, the civic facilities of this area will be ensured.”

The meeting was chaired by Mohammad Anisur Rahman Sani, Co-Organizing Secretary of Fatullah Thana Branch of Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam Bangladesh, and moderated by Vice President Nazrul Islam. Special guests present at the meeting were Mufti Bashir Ullah, Assistant Secretary General of Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam Bangladesh, Maulana Ferdawsur Rahman, General Secretary of Narayanganj District Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam, Maulana Kamal Uddin Dayemi, President of Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam Bangladesh Fatullah Thana Branch, Maulana Mofazzal, Joint General Secretary of Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam District, Mufti Harun Rashid, General Secretary of Metropolitan Committee, Maulana Monawar Saheb, and others.
