The death of Inqilab Moncho spokesperson Sharif Osman bin Hadi has triggered a wave of mourning and indignation across Bangladesh’s political landscape. Leaders from the BNP, Jamaat-e-Islami, National Citizen Party (NCP), and various Islamic organizations have issued strongly worded statements condemning the "political violence" that led to his passing.

BNP: Acting Chairperson Tarique Rahman expressed his heartbreak, calling Hadi a "fearless voice against injustice" and demanding a swift, impartial investigation. Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir also joined in expressing deep sorrow.

Jamaat-e-Islami: Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman hailed Hadi as an "idealistic warrior" who dreamed of a humane Bangladesh, noting that his contribution to the July Uprising remains unparalleled.

National Citizen Party (NCP): Convener Nahid Islam vowed to continue the struggle Hadi stood for, while Chief Organizer Sarjis Alam took a harder stance, demanding the closure of the Indian High Commission until the killers are extradited.

Leaders from Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis and Islami Andolan Bangladesh characterized the assassination as an attempt by "defeated forces" to silence dissent and anti-fascist voices. Maulana Mamunul Haque and Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim both called for the immediate arrest of the planners and instigators behind the December 12 attack.

Hadi’s death is increasingly being viewed not just as a loss for Inqilab Moncho, but as a rallying cry for the "post-July" political generation.
