Major Reshuffle of OC Posts in Five CMP Police Stations

The Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) has carried out a major reshuffle of officer-in-charge (OC) posts at five police stations. Several OCs have been transferred, while new officers from different CMP units have been appointed to various stations.

The changes were announced in an order signed by CMP Commissioner Hasan Md. Shawkat Ali on Saturday night (August 23).

According to the order:

• Nur Ahmad, police inspector of the Counter Terrorism Unit, has been appointed OC of Karnaphuli Police Station.
• Mohammad Abdur Rahim of CT&SB has been appointed OC of Khulshi Police Station.
• The current Karnaphuli OC, Md. Ikhtiar Uddin, has been transferred to Bayezid Bostami Police Station as OC.
• Md. Zainal Abedin Mondal, police inspector of DB Bandar Zone, has been appointed OC of Halishahar Police Station.
• The current Khulshi OC, Mozammel Haque, has been appointed OC of Panchlaish Model Police Station.

Meanwhile, the current Panchlaish OC Md. Zahedul Islam has been transferred to CT&SB.

In another appointment, Mohammad Ekram Ullah of CT&SB has been made OC of Sadarghat Police Station.

The order, issued in the public interest of CMP, will take immediate effect.

Copies of the order have been sent to senior CMP officials, including additional police commissioners, deputy commissioners, assistant commissioners and OCs of all CMP police stations.
