Police have arrested Awami League leader Isaul Haque (40) in Porsha.

Police have arrested Awami League leader Isaul Haque (40) in Porsha, Naogaon. He was arrested from his house in Paschim Duarpal on Sunday night.

He is the general secretary of Ward No. 1 Awami League of Nitpur UP in Isaul Upazila and an assistant teacher at Kalaibari High School.

Porsha Police Station Officer-in-Charge Ziaur Rahman said that a case has been registered against him under the Explosive Substances Act at the police station. He was sent to jail on Monday.
