The Ministry of Religious Affairs has issued an urgent notice requiring all Hajj pilgrims registered for 2026 to settle their remaining package balances by December 31, 2025.

This applies to those who have already completed their initial registration with a deposit of Tk 3.50 lakh through either government or private channels.

The ministry emphasized that full payment is mandatory under the Hajj Package and Guidelines-2026. Pilgrims who fail to meet this deadline risk losing their spot, as the ministry warned that late payments could make their Hajj journey "uncertain."

This measure aims to streamline the finalization of lists and logistical arrangements for the upcoming pilgrimage season.
