


Police have arrested former Union Parishad member Mohaed Khan, 55, a fugitive accused in three drug cases, from the Aladipur area of Rajbari Sadar Upazila.
Rajbari Police Station conducted the operation on Sunday (September 13) and arrested him based on a tip-off.
Mohaed Khan is the son of late Moksed Khan and late Tara Bibi of Rajapur village in Rajbari Sadar Upazila.
According to a press release issued by Rajbari Police Station, Khan had been wanted in three separate drug cases. Police conducted a raid in the Aladipur area and took him into custody.
He was subsequently sent to court under police escort following the required legal procedures.
Police also said Khan's wife, Laili Begum, is accused in another case. She was also arrested and sent to court, according to the press release.
