Pakistan have been docked 11 points in the World Test Championship, with players fined 50 percent of their match fees, after a slow over-rate in last week's Test against England in Birmingham, the ICC announced Monday.
The visitors fell 11 overs short of their target as England completed an eight-wicket win, sweeping the series 3-0.
The penalty leaves Pakistan at the bottom of the WTC standings with just five points from nine matches. Australia lead the table, having won eight of their ten Tests this cycle, followed by defending champions South Africa in second place. The top two sides will meet in the final at the Oval in London in June 2027.
Pakistan's next assignment is a two-match home series against Sri Lanka in November.
