The 48th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Nationalist Jubo Dal was celebrated in Dimla upazila, Nilphamari on Wednesday evening with a rally and a discussion meeting.
Organized by the upazila unit of Jubo Dal, the celebration began with a vibrant rally starting from the upazila BNP office. Leaders, activists and representatives from ten local unions marched through the main thoroughfares of the town before assembling for the main event.
The discussion meeting was chaired by Abu Bakkar Siddique, Acting Convener of Dimla Upazila Jubo Dal. Former upazila BNP President Principal Monowar Hossain, former Vice-President Ariful Islam Liton, former Organizing Secretary Golam Rabbani Prodhan, Sadar Union BNP President Dear Jahangir Alam and Acting Member Secretary of upazila Jubo Dal Tarikul Islam Khan Lohani addressed the gathering alongside leaders from various union units.
Speakers highlighted the organization's historic role also urged unity among local grassroots activists and reaffirmed their commitment to political reforms and public welfare.
