The press release indicated that all punitive measures previously enforced against S. M. Enamul Haque have been revoked, allowing him to reclaim his organizational rights as a primary member of the party. Consequently, he is now permitted to engage in all activities at the upazila, district, and central levels.
On August 10, 2024, a notice was issued by Khulna District BNP convener Amir Ejaz Khan and member secretary S. M. Monirul Hasan Bappi, which accused Enamul Haque of actions contrary to party discipline, leading to his temporary expulsion from all party levels, including primary membership.
The notice explained that this decision was made as part of a purge within the organization, given the political turmoil at that time.
Following his expulsion, he received a show cause notice and was required to provide a written explanation within three days. After the announcement, Enamul Haque expressed his gratitude to the party leaders and activists, stating, "BNP is my political home.
