Prime Minister Tarique Rahman stated on Saturday that the BNP government has begun fulfilling its campaign promises immediately upon taking office, noting that implementation started "before the election ink has even faded."

Speaking at an inauguration ceremony honoring religious leaders, the Prime Minister emphasized the administration's commitment to consistent action following the public mandate. The event gathered Imams, Muazzins, and leaders from the Hindu, Buddhist, and Christian communities.

"We have gathered those whom the public respects deeply and looks to for guidance during difficult times," the Prime Minister said, highlighting the inclusive nature of the program.

The government aims to eliminate financial disparity by providing targeted assistance and employment opportunities for marginalized communities.

Introduction of the 'Family Card' for economically disadvantaged women is underway, with a nationwide rollout planned in phases.

The 'Krishak Card' (Farmers Card) will be officially launched on April 14 (Pohela Boishakh).

A national canal-digging program is scheduled to commence in Dinajpur on March 16.

Financial assistance for Khatibs, Imams, Muazzins, and other religious leaders has officially commenced as of today.

The Prime Minister concluded by stating that these measures aim to empower citizens politically and economically, building a foundation strong enough to protect the nation’s freedom from future "fascism or evil forces."
