The July Uprising Memorial Museum will open to the general public on August 6 introducing a time-slotted online ticketing system to ensure a smooth visitor experience.

Cultural Affairs Minister Nitai Roy Chowdhury announced the schedule during a press briefing at the Secretariat on Tuesday. He confirmed that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman will officially inaugurate the memorial at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday August 5.

Following Wednesday's inauguration ceremony journalists will be granted initial access to tour the facility. The remainder of the day will be exclusively reserved for the families of the martyrs who lost their lives during the July Uprising, providing them a private space to honor their loved ones.

General public access will begin on Thursday August 6. Anticipating large crowds authorities have implemented a mandatory online booking system to manage visitor flow. Advance time-slot tickets are required for entry priced at Tk 50 for adults and Tk 25 for children.

Established to preserve the history and sacrifices of the July Uprising the museum stands as a significant national monument. The new booking protocol reflects the government's priority to maintain a safe accessible and well-managed environment for all citizens wishing to pay their respects.
