Iran’s Revolutionary Guards confirmed continued military operations, while the US military said strikes on Iranian targets were ongoing. Indirect diplomatic efforts are reportedly being mediated by regional countries, with possible talks expected in Islamabad.
Tensions have disrupted global energy markets, particularly around the Strait of Hormuz, a key route for global oil supplies. Oil prices rose again after earlier declines, reflecting ongoing uncertainty.
The conflict, ongoing since late February, has already caused significant casualties and raised fears of wider regional instability.
