


Mirpur Cantonment Public School and College held a Gold Card distribution ceremony on August 24 for students of classes 1 to 10. The card recognizes regular study, classroom attention, discipline and good behavior.
Under the school's system, teachers award green cards for good performance, attentiveness, timely classwork and sound conduct. Students earning the most green cards are later awarded a Gold Card as formal recognition, encouraging discipline and positive values alongside academic effort.
Principal Lieutenant Colonel Shahnewaz Md. Golam Zakaria PSC, G, Artillery, along with vice principals, coordinators, teachers and parents of the awardees, attended the event. Guests presented the cards and wished the students continued success.
Among the recipients was Mehrima Fairuz Himadri, a third-grade student from the "Golden Eye" section who earned the Gold Card for her outstanding performance standing out among all four third-grade sections. Her achievement brought pride and joy to her family and well-wishers.
Her success reflects consistent study habits, adherence to teachers' guidance, discipline, good behavior and active participation in school activities. Her father expressed pride in her accomplishment also wishing her good health and continued success in life.
The school's Gold Card initiative not only honours merit and good conduct but also motivates students to grow into responsible with disciplined individuals. Himadri's achievement marks a memorable milestone in her academic journey.
