New School Committee Leaders Welcomed in Paikgachha

The newly elected President of the Ad Hoc Managing Committee of Bogura Chak A.K.P.K.M.M. Secondary School in Garikhali, Md. Mizanur Rahman and other committee members were given a reception on Sunday morning by the school authorities and alumni association.

Presided over by Acting Headmaster Sujan Kumar Dhali, the ceremony welcomed Mizanur Rahman, teacher representative Goshtabihari Sana and guardian member Azaharul Islam with flowers.

Special guests included Alumni Association President Rashedul Hasan, BNP leader Kalingaraj Mondal former UP members Asadul Islam, Nasir Uddin Sana, A. Mannan Gain, A. Rahman Sana and Faridul Islam along with former Committee Presidents Ajmal Hossain Molla and Khairul Mistry.

Senior teachers including Ranjit Kumar Mondal, Debashish Bachar, Govinda Sardar and others along with Alumni Vice President Ziaul Haque Zia also attended.

Speakers said the historic institution has been neglected with lacking modern infrastructure and facilities. Recalling past conflicts over committee formation and leadership, they urged an end to panel-based elections in future to avoid local disputes and division.
