


The Agriculture Club at Patuakhali Science and Technology University (PSTU) has officially begun its journey. As part of its initiation, the executive committee for the 2025–26 session has been formed.
According to an official notice signed on Saturday, November 1, by the club’s chief advisor and Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Professor Dr. Md. Delwar Hossain, along with advisors Professor Dr. Md. Abu Yusuf and Professor Dr. Zohurul Haque, the newly formed committee has received formal approval.
For the 2025–26 term, a 15-member executive committee has been approved. Md. Abu Raihan Mia has been appointed as President, while Manoj Kumar Barman has been named General Secretary. Shahriar Iqbal Limon will serve as Office Secretary, and Md. Majharul Islam Anik has been assigned as Treasurer. Additionally, the club will operate through 11 different wings under the new leadership.
Expressing his feelings after being appointed President, Md. Abu Raihan Mia said,“It is a matter of immense pride and joy for me to serve as the President of PSTU Agriculture Club for the 2025–2026 term. This club symbolizes leadership development, innovative thinking, and unity among agriculture students. I firmly believe that through the collective efforts of the new executive body, we will make the club’s activities more fruitful and student-oriented, Insha’Allah.”
Speaking about his new role, General Secretary Manoj Kumar Barman stated,“It’s both an honor and a joy to be part of this new journey for the Faculty of Agriculture. The Agriculture Club is not just an organization—it’s the heart of our faculty, where students unite with purpose. Our main goal is to work for the welfare of students, enhance their knowledge, skills, and leadership abilities. With initiative and unity, we believe we can take our faculty to a more creative and welfare-oriented level.”
Regarding the newly formed committee, Professor Dr. Md. Delwar Hossain, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Chief Advisor of the club, said,“I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the new executive committee of the Agriculture Club. I hope they will play a significant role in promoting student welfare, improving the quality of education, resolving session congestion, and contributing to the innovation and dissemination of modern agricultural technologies for improving the quality of life of common people. I also believe they will set a remarkable example in developing leadership qualities. The university administration will always stand beside them.”
