Retired Teacher Rakibul Hasan Honoured with Farewell in Narail

A retired primary school teacher was given an emotional farewell by students and local residents in Lohagarh Upazila.

Md. Rakibul Hasan, an assistant teacher at Udayan Government Primary School, retired after 38 years of service in education.

A farewell program was held on the school premises on Saturday morning, organized by former students, teachers, and members of the school community. He was honored with gifts and flowers by attendees, including managing committee members and local dignitaries.

Speakers at the event praised Rakibul Hasan as a dedicated teacher who contributed significantly to spreading education in the area. Many attendees became emotional while expressing their respect and good wishes for his future.

Following the ceremony, the retired teacher was escorted home in a motorcycle procession arranged by students and local people, accompanied by music.

Rakibul Hasan is a resident of Itna Paschim Para village and the son of Abdul Khalek Sikder.
