President Shahabuddin Arrives in Pabna on Four-Day Visit

President Md. Shahabuddin arrived in his hometown, Pabna, on Saturday afternoon for a four-day official visit.

The President reached the Shaheed Advocate Amin Uddin Stadium helipad at 12:50 pm. He was received by local dignitaries, including Pabna Sadar MP Advocate Shamsur Rahman Shimul Biswas, Rajshahi Divisional Commissioner Anam Bazlur Rashid, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Shahed Mustafa, and Police Superintendent Anwar Zahid. Representatives from the Pabna Press Club and local political leaders were also present. Following his arrival, the President was accorded a guard of honour at the Circuit House.

According to the official itinerary signed by Protocol Officer Abul Kalam Md. Lutfar Rahman, the President’s schedule is as follows:

• Sunday (March 29): At 11:00 am, he will visit Arifpur Central Cemetery to offer prayers at his parents' graves. In the evening, he will hold an exchange of views with local journalists at the Pabna Press Club.

• Monday (March 30): The President will visit the Bhabanipur Mosque at 11:00 am. That evening, he will visit his residence in the Jubilee Tank area to meet with relatives.

• Tuesday (March 31): The President is scheduled to depart Pabna for Bangabhaban from the Pabna Cadet College helipad.
