President’s Fund Grants Aid for Pabna Graveyard Development

A financial grant from the discretionary fund of President Md. Shahabuddin has been allocated for the development and maintenance of a local graveyard in Pabna Sadar Upazila.

On behalf of the President journalist and human rights activist Kamal Ahmed Siddiqui formally handed over the donation cheque during a brief ceremony held in conjunction with Friday prayers.

A delegation of local community and religious leaders received the funds. The recipients included Mosque, Eidgah, and Cemetery Committee President Azibur Rahman, Cemetery Committee President Akshed Ali and Cashier Abdul Alim Abdullah, alongside the mosque’s Imam, Maulana Arif and several other local dignitaries. A large congregation of devotees witnessed the handover.

Community members expressed immense joy and deep gratitude to President Md. Shahabuddin for his timely support. Following the Juma congregation a special prayer was organized to seek blessings for the President's good health and longevity as well as for the continued peace, prosperity and welfare of the nation.

Local residents emphasized that the financial assistance from the President's discretionary fund will play a crucial role in implementing necessary infrastructural upgrades to the cemetery thereby benefiting the broader community.
