'Open House Day' was held at the Dampara Conference Room of the Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) on February 3 at 3 pm. Through this event, citizens can directly share their complaints and problems with CMP officials.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Hossain Mohammad Kabir Bhuiyan of CMP was present and listened to the statements of service seekers and instructed the officials to resolve them immediately. Citizens who participated in the program expressed satisfaction at getting immediate solutions to some of their problems.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (South) Md. Ferdous Ali Chowdhury, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic-North) Nesar Uddin Ahmed and other senior officials were also present at the program.
CMP said that such open house days play an important role in establishing direct contact with citizens and providing services more quickly and effectively.
