A coordination meeting was held at the Porsha border in Naogaon, organized by the Nitpur Border Outpost (BOP) of the 16 Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) Naogaon Battalion.
The meeting, held on Tuesday from 5 PM to 6 PM at a field adjacent to the Nitpur BGB camp, involved local cattle traders, public representatives, and prominent citizens.
The event was organized to raise awareness on various issues including the prevention of border smuggling, trafficking, illegal infiltration, and killings.
Speakers at the meeting included the Commanding Officer of the 16 BGB Naogaon Battalion, Lt. Col. Md. Ariful Islam Masum PSC ; Assistant Commissioner (Land), Nabila Ferdous; and Thana Officer-in-Charge, Mintu Rahman.
Among those present were the Nitpur Border 16 BGB Company Commander Subedar Mahfuzur Rahman, Havildar Babul, other BGB members, local journalists, and other distinguished personalities.
