Dinajpur Deputy Commissioner Rafiqul Islam said, "Along with education, it is necessary to ensure opportunities for children to have entertainment. Entertainment plays an important role in the well-being, thinking and intellectual development of children."
He said these things while speaking as the chief guest at the inauguration of the newly built children's park initiated by the Phulbari Upazila administration on Sunday afternoon.
The program, chaired by Upazila Executive Officer Ishaq Ali, was also attended by Assistant Commissioner (Land) Samiul Islam, Upazila Agriculture Officer Saif Abdullah Mostafin, Upazila Engineer Shafiqul Islam, Fisheries Officer Rasheda Akhter, Upazila Livestock Officer Dr. Sarwar Hossain, Project Implementation Officer Mizanur Rahman and officials from various departments of the upazila administration.
It is worth noting that an open children's park has been constructed on the initiative of the upazila administration in the Phulbari Upazila premises. The newly built park was inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Rafiqul Islam.
