National Youth Day 2026 was observed in Phulbari Upazila of Dinajpur on Saturday with various programs organized by the Upazila Administration and the Department of Youth Development.
The day's events began with a procession led by Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Md. Masum Billah through key local roads. Following the rally, a discussion meeting was held in the Upazila Parishad conference room, presided over by Upazila Youth Development Officer Md. Enamul Haque Chowdhury.
Government officials, public representatives, youth organization leaders and journalists attended the event. Speakers emphasized the importance of building a skilled youth force to drive national progress, aligning with this year’s theme: "Skilled Youth Will Build the Nation – A Bangladesh for All."
At the end of the meeting officials distributed loans, training allowances and free tree saplings among local youth to encourage self-employment, skill-building and environmental awareness.
