Pabna University of Science and Technology holds prayer for the recovery of former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia

A prayer meeting was held at the Pabna University of Science and Technology's central mosque after Zuhr on Sunday to pray for the recovery and speedy recovery of former Prime Minister of Bangladesh and BNP Chairperson, uncompromising leader of democracy Begum Khaleda Zia.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. SM Abdul-Awal and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam were present at the prayer meeting.

Deans of various faculties, proctors, student advisors, teachers, students, officials and employees were also present at the prayer meeting.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. SM Abdul-Awal prayed for the recovery of Begum Khaleda Zia and said, 'Begum Khaleda Zia's contribution to the history of the democratic movement of Bangladesh is undeniable. He is the guardian of all the people of this country and is a person of respect for all, regardless of party affiliation. The Vice Chancellor expressed hope that he will continue to play a leading role for the welfare of the country in the future and wished him good health and long life.
